Does this sound like a good MBP C2D?

Thinking of getting the 15 inch with 2.33 ghz, 2GB ram (the $500 extra seemed too much for 1GB), 160 HDD, and the glossy screen.

I got it for just over $2,000 with the ADC Student Membership. I'm going to sell my Powerbook G4 on ebay and hope to get some money back for it.

Don't see why not. I just got the exact same thing, and I am quite happy with it. I did manage to nuke mine with Bootcamp (guys at the Apple Store had to repair it), so be careful with that. Otherwise, it's a fantastic machine.
