Does Time-Capsule also backup a Windows partition ??

I'm thinking of picking up a TC ...... but does it do it's auto backup thing across the entire HDD, whichever OS is running ?? 😕

No, just the Mac side. Use Winclone to clone your PC disk to the Mac side.

The auto-backup you are thinking of is Time Machine.

If you are using Parallels or VMWare Fusion, the TC will backup those virtual discs.
