I've been playing with time machine a bit and have one question. If I run Time Machine from my user account, is it backing up all files on the system drive, including other user accounts, or is it just backing up file relevant to my user account?

If multiple users share a computer, do each need to make TM backups or can one user manage backups for the whole machine?

It's a system wide function and backs ups up all user's files when multiple users exist on one machine.
