Does unlimited data plan transferred to 4G on new iPad?

Yes it does. Look at AT&Ts new throttling policy. It states they will throttle 3g after 3gb and 4gLTE after 5gb.

data usage on unlimited iPad data plans are not tracked so you will not know how many gigs you've used. I have the SIM in a MiFi and I eat A LOT of data.
