does verizon ipad 1gb plan include a hotspot?

The reason I ask is because I can't find the option on my Verizon iPad even after looking at online tutorials. I have the 1gb plan. I can't sem to find any information on this post March 12 which is when the iPad wasn't released yet.

I have the option but I haven't tried it yet. Try settings, general, network and I believe there should be an option for personal hotspot. I don't have my iPad with me but this should lead you there.

Thanks. I did that but there is nothing there. I guess I'll go to Apple when I have time or call Verizon.
