Does Watch OS 5 support airplay?

Hi,

now that Sonos has integrated Airplay 2 in the Play:5 it would be soooooo nice to be able to tell my apple watch to play a certain playlist in the kitchen, while standing in the kitchen where my homepod can't hear me.
But the apple watch right now on OS4 is too stupid to understand any airplay commands. Does it change in OS5?

My Series 3 is on the latest iOS 5 beta, and no, airplay isn’t an option.

Yes this would be amazing. Now that airplay 2 is available on airport expresses I’m bummed I can’t initiate airplay via Siri on my watch. Only manually via now playing screen.

It’s strange because the watch is just mirroring the phone by default so it is odd that it can’t initiate airplay 2. It’s not like there is a visual interface that can’t be displayed on the watch. I hope this comes to a later watch beta.
