macOS Does xCode 4 upgrade to 4.1 for free?

I Recently Bought xCode 4.0.2 and was wondering since it is not compatible with Lion if the upgrade to 4.1 is free.

I think Xcode 4.1 will be free when it's out of beta. There is a GM seed to registered developers, so it shouldn't be a long wait. Also, Xcode 4.1 might be available for Snow Leopard, but it'll probably only be available if you already bought Xcode 4.0 or if you buy Xcode 4.1 when it comes out.

Xcode 4.1 is in the Mac App Store now, and it's free. (Free for everyone it looks like?)
