Hi Guys,
I have seen few topics that iPhone 11 pro got scratches. Do you have the same problem with iPhone 11?
I have problem with 1 of my iPhone 11. We bought 2pcs (white and green) about 3-4 weeks ago. We use them very carrefully as they are new iPhones and cost 2 standard polish salaries per 1 :D
One has so many scratches on the screens especially on the front screen. The apple service in Poland told me that they can take the phone but it is nonsens because they will return it that it’s mechanical damage and it’s our fault and they won’t take it on warranty. I’m really mad because our iPhones 7 after 3 years dont look like that.
I have never had this kind of problem before. I think we should make it big that Apple can see this problem.

P.S I'm very happy of these new iPhones because the speed and the camera are incredible but this screen is really big sh*t
P.S2 First scratches were right after 3-4 days using.

There is a huge thread (linked below) discussing this but my friends iPhone 11 also has "a-lot" of micro scratches that seemingly came from nowhere and he swears he babies it. Surprisingly my 11 Pro Max has maybe 1 or 2 hardly noticeable micro scratches from launch.

I was shocked at just how many models of the iPhone 11 Pro range has significant scratching at the Apple stores I’ve visited.. really can’t remember when I last saw that.

That damage can’t be from light everyday normal use surely not looks terrible. Looks like something from a jerryrig video.

I swear we use it very very carrefull. I have just noticed that on my second iphone 11, there are also minor scratches :(

No scratches on my 11 Pro Max and I've not been intentionally gentle. It's been in and out of my pocket, even the one with keys. I've not used a screen protector since the 4S.

A device should not need a screen protector at all. Then there is a design flaw.

Nothing we buy should need added layers of protection either but we live in a world where things happen. Folks put their phones in their pockets with keys and God knows what and then BAM! Scratches! It’s not a design flaw it’s haphazard handling at times.

Being those iPhone demos are handled thousands of times a day from those wearing jewelry, some intentionally scratch the displays, etc. I wouldn’t compare a ‘demo’ model to a real world iPhone that somebody uses every single day.

Sand grains do that. Not only to iPhone 11 but all of them. I wish Apple used sapphire crystal for their phone - or at least for the "Pro" range - but that's unlikely to happen. In the meantime I suggest you wear a screen protector is these micro scratches bother you.

Well, it would be YOUR FAULT if you ignorant enough to see "[any] resistance" characteristics as black and white: X-resistant - so you can apply any amount of X and expect product to stay unaffected.
FYI you even can scratch diamonds.
If you can understand that any resistance has it's rating then you will know that product exposed to harmful environment can resist it only to certain grade. Think about it like water resistance ratings: IPx1 and IPx8 are both water resistant to some extend.

STOP saying that this is our fault. A screen protector should NEVER be mandatory to avoid scratches.

You’re right, a screen protector should be optional, which is why I’ve never had any scratches on my iPhones, and I don’t use a case approximately 80% of the time. So some of these complaints with the scratches, are not necessarily indicative Of everybody else’s experience either.

Couple of deep scratches there. I always use a GSP and case from day 1, too expensive now not too, and especially if you upgrade each year.
Anyone that doesn't use a case or GSP i call BS on saying they are not getting scratches.
