Does your MBA make a weird noise when sleeping?

Occasionally when my MBA (2012) falls asleep (lid open) I will hear this strange electrical humming coming from the charger area. It goes away when I wake it up

When I close the lid however this sound returns and doesn't stop until I open the lid

Is this normal? 😕 It's not very loud however it's noticeable and quite annoying.

It's just snoring. 😀 Seriously, it's perfectly fine.

I would (if this is really loud and not your OCD):

Try another charger.

Clean the Magsafe's port contacts.
