Doesnt jailbreaking defeat the object of an iPhone?

Potential jailbreaker: Hi there how is lockinfo (or any other plugin/theme) with your batter life?
Jailbreaker: Doesnt affect it at all I got to bed with the battery on 100% and when I get up in the morning its on 99%.

Im sorry but thats just total BS and a clear case of defending jailbreaking to the point of lying to themselves to try and convince others.

Mine stays at 100% when I wake up. No BS.

Since when does MR membership indicate jb experience?

Answer: It doesn't.

Since you obviously missed it, the OP admitted having no experience with jb, Next time, actually read the entire thread. Clearly, being a long time member of MR doesn't indicate reading comprehension capability.

Personally I've never had any negative repercussions from jb-ing. I have noticed only slight battery drop and lag but it was generally worth it.
