iPhone 12 mini.
Just back from visit to Hungary where to communicate my wife (iPhone XR) and we both bought an eSim through Revolut.
The only way we could communicate while in Hungary was by using WhatsApp.
We are now back in the UK and on our usual network, EE, BUT still having communication problems!
When I try to send her, or anybody else with an iPhone, a message, it won't go as an iMessage (blue), just as a Message (green).

Any suggestions how to sort this out please?

One of you isn't activated on iMessage. Check Settings > Messages, if both show iMessage turned on - turn them off, then back on, to force re-authorization.

Thanks for that FE. I had a chat with Apple and issue resolved and yes, very similar to you suggested solution.

Please close thread as I cannot delete.
