Doesn't Safari support creating desktop widgets anymore?

I used to check a webcam from time to time with a widget I created from the Safari browser. It was starting to act up so I deleted it and went back to Safari to create another one. I can't find how to do it anymore. Is it gone?

It's still there.

File > Open in Dashboard...

Or, add the button to your toolbar - it's the one that looks like scissors.

I'm assuming you meant "Dashboard" rather than "desktop".
