I have a relatively non-shedding dog (a Wire Fox Terrier) yet I still keep having problems with my Magic Mouse not tracking properly. Every time this happens, I look in the little hole and see a dog hair or two overlying the optical sensor--despite the fact that there are no visible dog hairs on my desk or pretty much anywhere else. Cleaning out the hair(s) restores normal tracking. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any tips for how to avoid it (NO, getting rid of the dog is NOT an option 😵‍💫)?

I use a Microsoft mouse and a cat that sheds, but no problem. A shot of compressed air from a can once in a while solves cleaning the pickup.
