For context, I am currently on TvOs 15 beta, I have two original HomePods as my default speakers (eARC is also turned on) and the 2nd gen Apple TV 4K.

I have noticed that Dolby Atmos is not working for any content despite it apparently being turned on via settings. I have however also noticed is it greyed out in settings so although it is on, I can’t turn it off if I wished to do so (not like I would considering…).

Any advice? Anyone else experiencing this?

Do you have Change Format set to On. If so it will automatically re-encode your audio to whatever format is selected in the Change Format option. With Change Format set to On, the Dolby Atmos option will be greyed out. Set Change Format to Off to select Dolby Atmos.

Thank you so much for your response.

I can confirm that Change Format is turned off but is also greyed out.
