Just giving a trial of Apple Music another run. Now I'm seeing those lossless and dolby atmos/spatial audio badges on certain albums. I don't have any Airpods so I just use the regular lightning earpod.

When playing lossless, I can see the lossless badge on the Now Playing screen.
However, I have to force Dolby Atmos since I don't use Airpods, and if I did that, there's no badges at all on the now playing screen, no lossless nor spatial audio. But the sound is different.

Am I missing something?

Hello,

Is this turned on in your Settings>Music? And which iPhone are you using?

Yup, I set it to Always On.
When I do that, the now playing screen won't show any badges.

If I turn that to off/auto (which is off since I don't have AirPods), the lossless badge is shown.

Very strange. Must be a bug in the software somewhere as it shows for me on supported tracks.

AirPods/Power Beats 3 at work, AirPods Pro at home.
Those Bluetooth devices all turn on Dolby Atmos automatically, so that might be why you aren't see what the OP was seeing as far as the Dolby Atmos/Lossless designation.
