To be fair, not all people that are for the wall, are bad people. Some of them are stuck in jobs with stagnant wages, while they watch more and more illegals come in, working for lower wages. They are tired of the same old politicians doing nothing for them, so they follow someone like Trump.

I could understand the angst there, even if I do think it's somewhat misaimed. Though I don't think it justifies politicians preying on it for easy votes.

It isn't misaimed. I watched it happen in my 25 years in construction. It is the one of the reasons I retired from it. I was told by builder that I contracted with for 20 years, " lower your labor cost by 20%, or I'll give the work to the Mexicans" I challenge you to go out to a new subdivision under construction, and look who is building those houses. You'll see Hispanics doing the labor, with a white boss driving around in their new pick up trucks.

Actually he has a Samsung Galaxy phone.

He has both. And I got a laugh today when MSNBC first showed Trump talking about boycotting Apple and then showed his merchandise table where they are using iPads for registers LOL!!!

This liberal argument is getting very old. You know as well as I do, they are doing more than just picking produce.

Yes, there are plenty of other strenuous, dirty, tedious and perpetually low-paying jobs they do that spoiled Americans would never do in a million years. How about instead of complaining that there are people willing to do the crap jobs, be grateful they do and train yourself into a better job? Americans are going to get the shock of their lives if a) all undocumented people get thrown out AND b) berry pickers start getting $15 per hour. If we want to continue getting produce, etc. at the prices we are used to we need a guest worker program that allows people to come here to work but not necessarily at the min wage. Not slave wages by any means but not full wages, either, because they are not citizens. Go ahead and define what kind of work they can do so they aren't taking desirable jobs. If we could train them to make electronics, imagine all the industry that could come back to the US. There would be new management-level/administrative jobs created, not having to ship electronics sold in the US could offset the higher worker wages and all the taxes we would gain from having the manufacturers here would be great!

Should we assume the white boss hired illegal immigrants to do the work?

If yes, what you're saying is the white boss is a typical, probably Republican, law breaker. Why didn't you report this person?

If no, then you dislike capitalism and you probably don't love America.

Why Republican?

It's more likely a Democrat hired the illegals because he felt sorry for them and they should be legal anyway cause they want to live here...

Unless of course you don't believe Democrats are capable of running businesses... I assure you they are, and are just as quick to hire cheap labor as any other business owner.

You are wasting your time replying to ignorant post. There was no substance to it, they're just trying to antagonize me.

He did access and distribute classified material. However, the material that was classified was illegally obtained from the American people. He saw something that was wrong and reported it. He fled the country because he would have faced prosecution here. The government has a long history of history of persecuting (or worse) people who expose their corruption.

No it wasn't illegal, it was perfectly legally obtained

We know perfectly well what turd boy means; no need to tell us which way his wind blows...
You can syncophantly suck in his crap all day long; It's your health after all.
Don't expect me to eat this garbage though...

It's on Appleinsider, go there. I didn't say it had to make sense or that it is true. I'm saying they won't stop; they'll say anything to make a point.

EDIT, I saw it on ARS TECHNICA, not Apple Insider (though it may be there by now).
And it's not about the Iphone specifically by it attacks all crypto. Considering that Iphone is the biggest proponent of total wall to wall crypto, I think we know what that guy thinks of Apple's position.

Wow, you need to learn some manners.

I guess I approach things a little differently. I don't assume anything. I research a topic until I have a thorough understanding of the issue. If I comment in a forum it's as an informed contributor.

I would never, personally speaking, use forums as my primary source of information for any topic.

Just my thoughts.

This is a discussion. Everyone (edit: most people) is assuming something. If my assumptions are wrong someone can absolutely tell me how and why, should they choose to do so. Happens daily to others all over these forums. Occasionally I am able to point someone's incorrect assumption in the right direction too. If we don't have discussion and opinions, what do we have? If it's only people with cut and dry right or wrong responses, we don't really have anything to talk about. I think a lot of people are conflicted and many don't have the right answer. I know I don't.

I've learned a lot by engaging in discussion. I also happen to enjoy it. I imagine you are also here because you derive some level of enjoyment from perusing the forum.

You are welcome to spend time in forums as you see fit. If the only time anyone ever discussed in a forum was because they were an expert on the subject, I suspect MR could shut its forums down.

I don't use forums as a primary source of information on any subject, but I would be lying if I didn't learn a thing or two.

In any case, you seem to be more focused on my statements than the actual topic at hand. If you would like to discuss the actual topic (with someone who is admittedly not an expert on the matter), I am glad to do so.

One thing I will not do is judge you, as you seem to have done me. Internet anonymity is a wonderful thing though, isn't it?

Just my thoughts.

Surprising this thread hasn't been locked yet

Same nonsense spouted against trump that is de rigueur in the European left press

The proof will be in the pudding, as they say

"You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life." - Winston Churchill

There you go assuming again. Actually I wasn't judging. I was stating observations and then stating my personal approach.
And no, I'm not more focused on this that's the topic at hand. I've made several, well informed posts on the sunnier, at least a few in this discussion, so once again...maybe don't assume too much.

As to anonymity: I don't spout BS or make absurd claims so it really doesn't apply.

Whatever you say, bud. Thank you for adding to the discourse. Feel free to get the last word in.
