Done school - debating beween macbook pro 13" or imac

hmm got me thinking
if i got an imac wouldnt i just get a pc for less and hackintosh it 😛

I tried that, and i failed. ever since i got a new graphics card it will not open system profiler and crashes so i gave up and just stuck xp on it xD.

I'd get the 13" MBP....i have both an iMac & a 13" MBP...i use the MBP 10 times more than the iMac

why do u use the mbp more?

Get the macbook pro and buy an external display for when you feel the need for a bigger screen. I know I did.

compared the lowest end macbook pro with the lowest end imac

imac seemed obviously more responsive

still undecided so i didn't buy

$1420 is the deal I am getting over some dude on craigslist for the lowest end macbook pro

or its $1470 after taxes retail at apple store but does not include ipod touch

unless you really need portability, go with the iMac, you get way more machine.

No. why is this even a discussion. Portability is sorta important in college. I do not believe that there are many that would say that the desktop is necessary, unless you are doing intense Mac Pro esk work, in which case..yeah...
