Nintendo virtually never releases their own games off their own consoles (I'm pretty sure Miitomo, this month, is deliberately their first smart-device software ever), so people emulate or buy their devices.

Is there Donkey Kong Country game for mac?

Dude - just did this myself and its awesome:

1. Go to OpenEmu and download thier Emulator
2. You then need to find a ROM (you should google something like "CoolRoms" and look for donkey Kong
3. Plug in a USB controller and away you go

Your mac is now a 8/16 bit Gaming Rig

O Man. You reminded me my childhood. I was big fan of this, still I am fan of this game. Played a lot.
Sorry for not having answer to your question.
I would also love to play it on mac. Do anyone have any idea about it guys?

Legally, you can only download ROMs for games that you actually own.

honestly the best experience is to buy a new 3ds XL. You can get refurbished under 100 dollars. Then you can buy the donkey kong country 3ds game or buy the super nintendo versions through the vc and own it legally. The experience is awesome on the 3ds. They just started releasing super nintendo games on the 3ds. They already have a few good ones out. Sure its cheaper to run the roms on your pc but I love playing them on the XL and owning them legally.

Its too bad many think the 3ds is almost done. There are so many good games for it and great regular ds games for it to keep you busy for thousands of hours.

Of course the other route is to buy yourself a secondhand Super Nintendo Entertainment System and a the game of which I am sure you can get on E Bay or somewhere, and just play it how it was meant to be played.

Just a thought :)
