Donnie Darko sequel? Seriously?

This is probably the best explanation I've ever read of DD.

I can't imagine many of the cult following of DD supporting a sequel.

Then you have no sense of humor. It's the funniest thing I've ever seen for all the wrong reasons. I've watched it about 20 times total.

I've never heard that euphemism for... "happy time."

Plot:The story picks up seven years after the first film when little sister Samantha Darko and her best friend Corey are now 18 and on a roadtrip to Los Angeles when they are plagued by bizarre visions.

I just can't quit laughing at the idea of this sequel. And with E. Berkley in it, I'm sure that the only thing the plot synopsis is missing is that we'll see some boobies. Oh wait, maybe those are the bizarre visions.
