The upcoming M3 OLED iPad Pro is by definition a “Skip” year. New untested OLED displays and a castrated M3 chip which Apple is replacing with a new M4 Chip within the same year with the M4.
Im not going near an M3 OLED iPad Pro. Also rumored prices are $1,499 up from $799 for a base 11” iPad Pro. Even if Trade in gets $500 that’s $1,000 Plus Tax.

Im even considering buying a second M2 11” iPad Pro. Because prices will crash and it’s a great device.

The M1 mini LED turned out to be a winner for me.

I’ll definitely wait for reviews (and maybe see what WWDC brings this summer) but this is a refresh I’m interested in Partially because of the rumoured new pencil and keyboard

The M4 vs M3 isn’t going to matter for my use cases I think

Ray tracing needs developer support at the right application. Gaming market on iOS is not well known for AAA releases with RTX 4080 level graphics, so I don’t think those “ray tracing” will be widely used by most people anytime soon.

Which is a shame because iPad would be a great platform for games

I would love BG3 to come to iPad

Sure, thanks for letting us know. A total flop like every year. The end is nigh. Rinse and repeat.

That was an old rumor. The new rumor is $160 at most.

Divinity Original Sin 2 was originally an M1 iPad exclusive (when it came to iOS). Maybe Apple will have them make an M3 iPad exclusive version of BG3. Larian is still actively working on BG3, with update 7 dropping “soon”.
