don't emty trash

I'm managed to fill my trash to 6k+ files. when i try to delete them, the process starts but after hours! it's still stuck at approx 1-2%

How come.

Can i in any way just delete them.... really need the space 😉

I was having the same issue after installing Snow Leopard.

Go to your Preferences for Finder and make sure that "Empty Trash Securely" is not checked.
