it's a reminder...but i'm not exactly sure if we really need to? but trim enabler requires it...so...do we really to turn it on again? since 10.10.4?

once enabled via trimforce, it should stay that way....check in profiler to be sure

I enabled it via the terminal and updating to 10.10.5 hasn't changed the state of trim since. You use trim enabler to change that setting?

And you still used it to enable trim after updating to 10.10.4 instead of using the native terminal command?
i still have the app on my computer...just the heck of it...even though i know there is native one...still...i wasn't sure if i had to reactivate the native on again.

Have you tried contacting the app developer, either on this forum or on the app's website? He's known by the username cindori. He might be able to help you Time Machine regarding trim enabler and it works. Have you updated the app after having originally updated to 10.10.4? 'Cause as far as I know having trim disabled after a update to the operating system is akin to the old workaround instead of the newer, sanctioned way of doing so.
