Don’t get it what’s the diff?
When displaying text with font smoothing, the OS inserts extra shaded and coloured pixels when drawing text to make it appear smoother, but adds some extra fuzziness to the text. People turn it off to remove the fuzziness as the need for smoothing is reduced in retina displays. It’s really subjective and many people refer it turned off, but if you can’t tell the difference, I’d say just leave it on as it’s one less unnecessary setting to play around with.
