Im not too sure about how bootcamp works. But I dont have a windows xp cd to install onto my mac. Is there any other way I can get windows on my mac? Like could I find it somewhere on my pc to load onto my mac?

Nope. They're no where on your PC machine. No where. Try finding them.. Sorry.

You need the Windows install CD. There is no other option. Sorry.

yep, you for sure need that disk. If you bought from like HP/Dell/etc. you might be able to call them up and get a re-install disk for your current machine, though this might not work since it has already been activated on that one computer.

I guess you are down to either buying (ugh...) a copy or discovering the wonderful world of bittorrent (yaarrrggh matey, I'm a pirate! :D)

I think if you load Belarc Advisor on your PC and run it, it will give you the original code that was used on your windows OS. Then if you can get a copy of XP somewhere, use the code you just retrieved, and you're set.

Edit: Yes, I just tested it, Belarc will retrieve the key for you.
