Hi board members - I've just changed my time machine backup drive and want to delete my former backups. I have them in the trash but am not allowed to delete them. I get a warning message saying I don't have permissions.

Maybe I should have reformatted the drive and not put them into the trash. Now that I have done that I can't put them back either.

Does anyone have a remedy to override this permissions thing?

    Cheers, Mal
