Me and @Boardiesboi had the same issue, restarted our devices, then battery percentage became stuck, wouldn’t go down, only way to get it to show correctly, was by restarting the phone every time, only restoring the device fixed the issue. 🤦‍♂️

DON’T!!!!!! restart your phone.

I hard reboot my phone daily, 0 issues. Just reinstall iOS 15 from one of the ipsw sites. Set up as new keep it moving

Can’t believe this stuff slips right though apples hands 🤦‍♂️😡 so annoying having to restore my device because of this stupid bug.

Get your act together Tim Cook, your software has been trash since beta 8.

Can confirm

I did a hard reset/reboot and the battery dropped from 97% to 92%.
Used it for maybe 15 mins or so since then but the battery was then stuck at 92%
I then plugged the phone into the Mac and checked Coconut Battery and the charge is 88%
Rebooted the phone again and battery showing as 88%

Tried to reset all settings and that didn't help.

I'll have to restore.

Latest screenshot of the battery settings show this. Battery usage under last 24 hours is stuck at 0%

This could be on limited small chipset supplies, maybe orders are being rushed out to other product suppliers' manufacturing plants and thus 2x quality control is being missed before some 10 or every 1000 units are tested and shipped for final delivery.

Simple solution:
kill the MagSafe overpriced (even today's price drop) junk. Let the accessory partners make such units, better value for end users, least expense for Apple. chips can be used in other products.

Wow I just rebooted my 13 Pro Max because I switch SIM cards and was trying to get my texts to sync up. Then I read this post and noticed my battery is stuck satin 90%. I did a few intensive things like games and it’s still saying 90%. Damn now I gotta erase and start over??

You must be one of the unlucky ones like me and @LFC2020, we both had to restore to get the battery % draining normally.

No more reboots for me til I know for sure it's not ANOTHER bug that Apple hasn't fixed in iOS 15.

Why would you force a computer into a cold reboot rather than a normal power cycle? I don’t see the benefit.
A hard restart will probably not do the usual OS cleanup that a normal restart will do. Hard restart should only be used in severe cases like a freeze.

Damn. By the way I restarted by shut down in the settings. I did not do hard shut down from power button and volume button.
