Well it happened to me. I was having a hard time deciding if I wanted to keep it or not. But this is making it an easy decision for me. I don’t want to set everything back up again.

What happened to you? It sounds like you did not have the same issue that the OP did otherwise you would have done a restore and said as much. This might be more related to iOS 15 then it does to the phone. No way of us really knowing for sure.

I did a hard reboot earlier today and my storage has increased lol. It seems to have stabilized tho so hoping it's the real deal. Battery still draining like a hemi tho.

This… I haven’t charged my battery in 2 days lol

Exact same issue. I just did a complete erase and I don’t want to set it up again when I was already on the edge of returning it.

That technique does not work since a few months ago
Apple now uses a randomized serial number, that cannot be decoded to determine either manufacturing week or location.

My most annoying bug so far is touch not working intermittently.

Why hard reboot, did the phone freeze up? Doing a hard reboot will force the phone to shutdown without doing its usual cleanup on shutdown. That is why the hard reboot is instaneous where the normal restart takes time to shutdown.

I just got tired of the battery drain and thought it would do something but yea I won't do it again needlessly.

Try the updated 3uTools if you have a windows computer. Seems to decipher it well.

Me and @Boardiesboi had the same issue, restarted our devices, then battery percentage became stuck, wouldn’t go down, only way to get it to show correctly, was by restarting the phone every time, only restoring the device fixed the issue. 🤦‍♂️
