I'm surprised that the shipping date has only slipped to March 19th so far! However, I think that once people see the retina display the sales rate will increase dramatically. It reminds me of the original iPad. They didn't sell too fast at first, but once people actually saw them, they rapidly sold out. People didn't "get it" until they held one. The same will be true of the new iPad--once people see it, they'll "get it". BTW, letting the moniker be the "new iPad" is genius. We have an original iPad in the house and we call the latest iPad the "new iPad". So instead of telling people I have the iPad three, I'll just say I have the new iPad. They'll understand!
