My school had it's field day today, and well, let's say I forgot to put my iPod in my bag before doing the events.

My iPod, not a single incident from January 3, 2006 - August 31, 2007.

It still plays music, but it's like having a 30GB iPod shuffle.

To add insult to injury, when I discovered that the screen had been smashed, I was going to watch a video.

Field day? We had field day... in elementary school.

Back in those days, I wouldn't even bring my Sony Walkman (those awesome, yellow and gray rubberized cassette players) with me.

EDIT: And field day ROCKED. I was an unstoppable force in foot races. :)

Same thing happened to my Samsung E900 when I went to france with my school.

I can put up with it as I am hopefully getting a new phone soon.. iPhone !! :D

Well, at least you can still somewhat see what's on the screen. I'm just curious how though, is it a different kind of display?

same thing happend to be except i sat down with my ipod in my back jeans pocet with the earbuds wrapped around the screen, apple wouldnt replace it (it was worth a try) so my dad just got me a new one :)

My family all pitched in and bought me a refurbed iPhone to replace my iPod (shwing!!) for my birthday. I should be getting it soon! YAY!!!

The last time I had field day was in 8th grade (I'm in 10th grade now)

too bad about your ipod, but congrads on your new iphone! Out of curiosity, how old are you?

Back to homework...:(

Sorry about your iPod! :( It's been a while since I destroyed an LCD screen, but I did b0rk a Palm once upon a time. Fascinatingly I've never done it to a cellphone! Or my 3.5 year old iPod or it's 5 month old lil' cousin. :)
