I never take my iPod to places where I know it could get damaged. I take it on long journey's like to Thorpe Park and Alton Tower's (I live in the UK... these theme parks rule), but I leave it in the car in one of the hidden compartments.

If that happened to my iPod... I think I would cry... becasue I know that my parent's won't buy a new one... unless they break it...

You can buy brand new screens for about 30, then always turn around and resell the iPod.

That guy is awesome, I've bought a few parts from him, his shipping is extremely fast.

He had the parts I needed, and priority mailed them to me, just in time to rebuild my iPod before Otakon.

Having a broken screen sucks. I got p***ed at my old iPod 4G, as it wouldnt work half the time, and I was fighting with my now ex, and a bunch of other stuff got to me all at once, and it was sitting on my desk, and met my fist. >.>'

Right. Young people don't enjoy nice phones, WIFI or iPods. Makes sense to me.

I guess that's an expected response from a spoiled teenager.

Where I am from, you stop having field day in 6th grade. No 6th grader has saved $300 for an iPod to bring to field day.

Well, just to let you know, I'm in 12th grade. And I actually got the iPod while I was in 10th grade (mostly from money I saved up myself).

Don't ask why my high school has field day, I've wondered that myself.

oh 12th grade? There's really nothing wrong with that (IMO)...i was just picturing a bunch of 4th graders with iPhones and iPod Touches, and i couldn't help but say WTF?

:D

No problem. I can see how you might have got that image. My school is really weird.

I am not spoiled nor am I a teenager. You however are presumptious. Technology changes and as it does younger people will acquire things you consider far too advanced for them. Welcome to the year 2007, Gramps. Where are you from Siberia?
