BRUSSELS (Reuters) - An inebriated Belgian woman died in a freak accident when she ended up beneath a heavy grave stone at a cemetery, local news agency Belga said Wednesday.

The 33-year-old was on her way home from a bar in the Belgian town of Pulle in the early hours of Saturday when she took a short cut through the cemetery.

But she urgently needed to relieve herself and crouched down between two gravestones. As she lost her balance, she grabbed one of the stones which gave way and landed on top of her.

The public prosecutor's office said she died of suffocation as she was unable to lift the heavy stone.

At least they won't need to move her far for the funeral. ;)

What's more embarrassing, the fact you died underneath a gravestone, or the fact you died while peeing? I'd be more embarrassed about the latter.

If someone were pissing on my grave, i'ld pull my head stone over on them.

While desecrating a grave a Belgian woman managed to pull a massive head stone over on to herself while adjusting her squat for better aim...

Part of me wonders if it was some type of bizarre goth porn.
 
You're in a graveyard, crouched down between two gravestones peeing, because you simply couldn't hold it in any longer. Just your luck, you are balancing yourself against a stone that is not too secure. Light enough for your weight to wobble, yet heavy enough to pin you. As it topples, and you are knocked down into a pool of your own urine, what is going through your mind?
"You gotta be fricking kidding me!!!"
Now you're pinned under the stone. you struggle to get free, but you're either too drunk to move it, or it's just too heavy. As you lose consciousness, one thought comes to you in a last bolt of clarity.
"Those guys a MacRumors are gonna have a field day with this one...."

This image is gonna stick with me all day today.

We should feel bad for the person's family as they are no doubt going through a tough time.

Still, you have to admit that her death was rather amusing.

Maybe it was such a monumental piss she washed away the foundation soil!
 
Aww, that really is ironic and a sad... makes you rethink getting drunk and not just using the raunchy restroom in the establishmen you got drunk at. :eek:
 
Well after the lawyers are done, there will be a warning label on grave stones.
Or one from the Surgeon General. The federal government needs to protect us from this problem, it could spread to the states and become a menace.


I can think of a few, can you?
