Okay, I admit I was excited to try out HDR. Jeeze, sue me.

Dumb question but can the gm be installed without your ecid registered on a dev account?
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-gb) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A400 Safari/6531.22.7)
Who'd trust some dodgy firmware floating around the Internet on a device that cost several hundred £/$?

After I updated, I found my iPhone 4 lagging around after using the camera app.
Then I realized that my baseband was still exactly the same as before: 01.59.00
What is going on with this? I plugged my iPhone in and restored it back to 4.0.2 and it worked without a hitch. I seem to remember previous iPhones not easily restoring to older firmware.
FYI... The Final release can be slightly different than the GM.
Case and point 4.0 GM had the game centre, 4.0 final did not.
4.0 beta did, I do not remember the GM of 4.0 having it.
I'm considering getting an early copy simply so that I can register my GameCenter handle!
Is GameCenter only an iPhone 4/3GS 4.1 thing? I have 4.1 on my 3G and there is no GameCenter on it. I'm not upgrading the iPhone 4 until it's jailbroken.
my baseband is 02.10.04 and theirs no lag anywhere.
What you had was the gold master candidate. There can be a difference between the GM and a candidate.I can assure you I had the GM and it did have game center. other than that, it was exactly the same as the official release.
