I don't think it's a rule on this forum that the poster has to reply to everyone's response to their post. in fact I know it's not a rule, I've read other people's posts and they don't reply to everyone's responses. did you read my 2nd post in this thread on page 1? probably not. and you are right when you say "tone of voice" but when it is the written word you don't know what the tone is. what you "heard" is not what I said.

You say "probably not". That's pretty much blatant disdain.

I did try to explain my point of view. I said we'll really never know your intentions. You respond with an insult.

I'll stop watching this thread.

30 tabs seems nothing close to extreme. Content seekers like me love to have everything up on a tab where you can switch back and forth. And running up to 7 to 10 programs at a time is normal for me. I'm doing very light video editing. Just downloading and cutting and pasting several clips on iMovie.

I run two bowsers with dozens of tabs, email, shipping software, video screen recording app, video downloading app, iMovie, iTunes, Plex, Adobe Reader, Word, and Excel. All at the same time without a hiccup. I'm not a power user, but I can have everything up that I need and use it without a problem.

M1 Air 8GB 256. So as I agree with you, I also disagree with you about what the M1 Air can do.

So, apologies for my childish behavior - storming off trying to get the last word. I did return since someone reacted to my post. I saw this response from you.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. When we're just not sure, we owe it to each other to do that. Also, it's hard to behave civilly or question your own position when your back is against the wall and you're under attack; sarcasm and insults are the norm. I'll gird myself against any future responses.

Something else will be broken before the ssd breaks down. Probably the screen coating.
