Doom 3 Widescreen resolution

I remember a tweark for PC that'd make doom 3 run on widescreen. Is there anything like that on the Mac version?

hey, i was wondering if you had a problem when your game loads, i get sound but no grapics tho i have a high end mac pro, ive tryed changeing the resultion and running it on a windowed desplay but nothing is working
any ideas??

I had the same problem. But all you have to do is unclick OpenAL (i think, im not at my Mac right now)

Simple enough to fix, but it only happened when my laptop was not connected to my speakers.

sorry im actully going to sound like i dont no anything now
i nurmaly use ubuntu and bsd i only use my mac for graphical things and i have no idea how to use it any more
is there a quick step by step guide?
i cant find the thing you sugested to unclick (it was a quick look and i was problly looking in the wrong place)

Wow that's a really old game. I havent played that in awhile now.

every time i change the resolution it doesnt save when i restart the game, someone suggested 'vid_restart' to restart the graphics but not the game, this still didnt work, any ideas?
