2. Call me a optimist, but does anyone think there could be a dvd at time of initial release, if at all?

I'm not to worried theres always bootcamp, but it would be nice.

No release date yet, should come out on a DVD or two.

ID software is pretty good for cross platform support. Their games are usually openGL, so I would assume a mac version pretty close to the same release date as a pc version.
Though, there really is no news on it so any thing said is aguess.

The rumor is that they're supposed to be showing something off later this year at quakecon or whatever they call it in august. Rumor is that it's supposed to released at around christmas eve, which to me sounds like first quarter of next year.
