Doom3 install

So I wanted to install Doom3...I put in disc1, and clicked on it...now I'm not sure how to install it. Does anyone have the game and happen to know how I go about to installing it?

When I click on setup or other similar files, they're all .exe

I bought the game like a year ago...could it be that it's not compatible with a Mac?

It sounds like you're trying to use the Windows version. Did you have it working a year ago?

Well when I bought it it was for a PC...I've never had a Mac. But I thought it would work...

Why would you think it'd work? If it doesn't say Mac OS X on the box then it's plainly obvious.

download Bootcamp 1.2, install windows (use your previous pc's oem cd, but dont expect it to get properly activated).

You can call in and say you upgraded your computer, but that doesnt really work for OEM copies, only retail copies because OEM is tied to your hardware.

Games tend to run better on Windows than OS X.

i run doom 3 on my macbook pro, under windows using bootcamp. it runs really well.

im gonna get the mac version though... i hate having to use windows when I dont really need to!
