Hello everyone

I run Dosdude's Mojave on a drive in my cMP 3,1 and am experiencing really slow wifi. A long time ago I replaced the stock wifi/bt card for a compatible model and wifi works as intended on my OCLP'd Monterey installation on the same computer.

In Mojave, the Patch Update tool said there was an update to the Broadcom BCM 4321 Wifi Support Patch which I ran but wifi is still slow.

Is the cause of the problem that that patch is unnecessary since I replaced the stock wifi/bt card? If so, how do I remove the patch?

Thank you
Philip

In my experience, the dosdude patches cant only be added, not removed with the tool.

So if you want to revert a patch, install over your current patched OS and ensure that the patch option is unchecked.

Of course you can tinker with the kexts, but if you could do that, you dont have asked that question ;-)

Thanks for replying. Yes I don't want to tinker but had hope it would be possible to simply disable a patch. I might try to figure out another solution, for instance by sharing the internet from another Mac.
