On both my phone iPhone SE 2020 (16.1) and iMac 2020 Ventura, the Reminders app now has dotted circles where the " + " sign once was located. Anyone know why or have a fix for this?

Not seeing that on my M1 Mini (macOS 13.0) nor my iPhone 13PM (iOS 16.0.3), though I'm just now updating my iPhone to 16.1, so I'll let you know if I see anything different after the update is complete.

In macOS, I have nothing at all below the last reminder on any list. You simply click below the last reminder to add another one or click the + button at the top left of the app window. In iOS, there's a "+ New Reminder" button at the bottom of the app, but no + sign below the last reminder. You can also tap below the last reminder to add a new one.

macOS:
EDIT: I just realized I DO get the "dotted circles" if there are reminders with times and you select View > Group by Time

Actually, I just realized the dotted circles only appear when you click the "Today", "Scheduled", or "All" filter at the top left.

But I don't see what the issue is. I believe the dotted circle is simply meant as a placeholder to indicate "here's where the next reminder would go if you want add one." Why these circles only appear when you filter reminders and not when you open an individual reminders list, I have no idea.

Not a big deal, didn't used to be that way. Before I upgraded to Ventura, it occurred on the iPhone only, but not the iMac. Thanks for looking into it for me :)

I didn't care for Ventura at least for now and reinstalled Monterey and the problem is fixed, no more dotted circles.
Still have the dot in iOS though.
