iPhone XS Max Double click home button on Max not working

Anyone else having issues with this? If the phone is off and I lift it and double click home it does not go to Wallet even though I have the setting enabled. If I double click the home button when the phone is on it just turns the phone off.

What home button? Are you referring to the side button?

Assume you mean the power button? Mine goes to wallet with a double press.

The Max doesn’t have a home button. What you are pressing on is your power button. Not having any issues double clicking my power button to go to wallet for Apple Pay.

You have to enable it in settings.

Sorry. Meant side button. All set up with cards and enabled, but does not work. Must be something with iOS 12 on my phone.

Are you checking the right place? I just checked and mine was off on my new phone. Guess that doesn’t transfer over from a backup. Turned it on and it worked immediately.

Mine transferred when restoring from a backup.
