Running 12.4 and since resetting and restoring last night, using a backup from last Monday, I'm prompted to double click the power button to install an app instead of Face ID. I did follow the steps on Apple's support page and still it wants a double click. Is this something new?

Prior to resetting, I didn’t have to. It prompted me to press the Face Id logo on the bottom of the screen.

Not sure what that's about, but the double click has been standard since the iPhone X and Face ID debuted. Hasn't been any other way for me since then.

Found it, Settings > General > Accessibly > Side Button > Use Passcode for Payments > toggle on.
