    Hi everyone,

I'm from Spain and I'm looking forward to buy an iPad in the US to send it here.

Firstly I considered the Wi-Fi model because I've seen that is possible to tether 3G with MyWi in the iPhone, but I think that this will destroy the iPhone battery and may be I won't be able to do so in the future.

About getting the 3G model, I don't want to get another 3G plan for the iPad, so that's my "theory":

    - You get a double SIM card of my current one in the iPhone with a data 3g plan.
    - Cut the second one with the corresponding size and place it on the iPad.
    - Use the iPhone and the iPad with the same 3G data plan (I guess that I won't be able to use both devices in the 3G network at the same time...)

What do you think about it?? :D:D

Thanks in advance. Best regards! :)

It's a good idea, but then how are the cell providers going to suck the extra money for the iPad off of you?!

At least, not in Spain because the clonic SIM is provided by the careers here.

The sim card in iPad 3G is not interchangeable i think.
