Double tapping I

A lot of times when I type the letter "I" it double taps and I get ii. Has anyone had this problem or know a solution?

no problem with that, but I can't figure out when the pad will decided to capitalize a lone "i" or not. Sometimes it will kick it to upper case, and sometimes not. 😕

Ii just checked and ii don't seem to have that problem. Ii will keep a lookout and ii will carefully check to be sure ii don't do it.

It also does it with 8. Should I take I in to apple? I think it could be something with the touch screen.

I don't have a problem with the i's but rather with trying to get over to the A key, seem to get the S a lot.
