So I back up all my contacts on Google Contacts and sync them to my iPhone using Microsoft Exchange. This was working fine, and I was happy until I updated to 3.0 this afternoon. Now it seems that Apple in their infinite wisdom has decided to split contacts up into "groups". So, I now have a group "All on My iPhone" and a group of contacts from my Google account. These happen to be exactly the same list since I sync my iPhone contacts and my Google contacts. Now, the list that hitting "Contacts" defaults to is a group called "All Contacts," which is just the two other lists combined. So, for some asinine reason, I now have two copies of every contact. Any ideas on how to fix this and allow me to continue syncing with Google Contacts?

I went to an Apple store today to get my screen replaced because of dust and I asked them about it, they said to try just deleting one of the groups.
