iOS Doubt in iPad xib files

I have a doubt in the ipad app development .

If we develop an app for iphone, than our view.xib size is also same as iphone know(320x460).


If we develop an app for ipad, the iPad size is 1024x768, But the view.xib is only 320x460.

Why it is like that.If we run the simulator , it is also not showing the original size of the iPad.

Thats why you have a xib for the iphone and one for the ipad.

This is much too vague to confirm. What are the exact steps that are leading you to the conclusion that the view.xib is only 320x460?

But the simulator size is small know? I cant view the full view.xib (768x1004)
