hi, did someone have tried to downgrade basebande from 05.16.01 to 05.16.00 for iphone 3GS, with the new version of sn0wbreeze 2.5

i don't know if you gonna lose also the GSP as well as with redsn0w ?

You can, but if you do it with redsn0w you will lose the GPS feature
but i don't if it's the same think using the new version of snowbreeze 2.5,

Redsnow actually updates the baseband to the iPad version and that's why gps stops functioning.
Don't know what snowbreeze does but I'm staying far away from it.

so wrong. It updates the BB to 6.15 (an iPad BB) not downgrade.
I don't recommend you do anything unless you know what you are doing 😉

yes exactly, i will do nothing untill i'm sure that will not affect my GSP,
so now i m just using my iphone like an ipod 🙁 because untill now there is no solution for 05.16.01

Congratulation. You have a very nice 3GS Ipod touch.

Get a pre-paid sim from AT&T or whoever is the iphone carrier where you are.
