hey guys have a quick question for you i have a iphone 5c and my watch is running watchos 4 is there a way to downgrade it to watchos 3 i do have a backup on 3.1.3. Please write back. I would appreciate it. Thanks

You cannot. WatchOS 3 is not an option anymore.
 
How did you end up with mismatched versions? If it was due to a warranty replacement, then I'd get back in contact and see if anything can be done.

There is nothing Apple can do. It can’t be reverted back to watchOS 3. In Most cases, replacement devices ship with the latest watchOS. But that is an interesting point you bring up.

Indeed, if it was a warranty ( or out of warranty damage replacement) replacement I think Apple would have to be obligated to help in some fashion, if the watch pre replacement worked with 5c but post replacement won't.

Usually of course this sort thing isn't issue, but the 5/5c bring up a unique possible scenario here as heir OS version compatibiliy is out of sync with

I think if that was the case and they can't furnish a WatchOS 3 device as replacement, they might /have/ to upgrade the phone instead.
