Downgrade back to Mavericks

Everything was going well till preview 4 which would not allow me to run Parallels.
I was able to re-Install Mavericks using a USB Bootable install. I didn't lose any of my files nor applications.
BUT now FINDER and PREVIEW are NOTES won't work.
Luckily FINDER can be relaunched.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

Why would you expect Parallels to work with a beta OS that is still several months away from public release?

Do you know what beta is?

The Beta of v10 works fine so far.

I installed Yosemite Beta today and Parallels is working just fine.

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium with Parallels 9.
