downgrade help for 3G on 4.0 to 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 ?

I'm experiencing the serious slow issues after upgrading.

can someone point me to the surefire way to get back to 3.1.2 ?

I jailbroke my 3G w/ redsnow and unlocked w/ ultrasnow.
my baseband is 5.13.04

I've read about blobs being saved on Cydia ( mine are not )
but I think that's just for 3GS.

Download 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 IPSW for 3G and use iTunes to install it.
