Hello! I use a macbook pro 2015 and I want to know if it is safe to downgrade high sierra to sierra.
I remember that I did one method and it succeded on public beta 2 but I don t know if it will work on beta 3. Does APFS get changed during betas or the macOS system files or both?
How was your experience downgrading?

Just downgraded myself. Booted in Recovery, erased the disk, formatted HFS+ (journaled) and then restored from my latest Sierra Time Machine backup. Took a while but now I appear to be back to where I was a month ago. The reason for the downgrade was 1) problem with preferences sticking upon reboot, then 2) I recently started having unexpected shutdowns. Upon reboot, the system clock would be reset and not automatically use Apples time servers. It was acting as if the power management board was cutting out. I had reset the SMC twice, but it had no effect on the problem. I'm not sure why the OS should change SMC (thought this was firmware), but it sure acted as so.

MacBook Pro Early 2011, 13" 2.3 GHz, 16 GB, 240 GB OWC 6G, upgraded broadcom bluetooth modem.

Quick follow up. If your Photo library is upgraded on High Sierra and no iCloud backup... that library is not supported on Sierra.

Downgraded also. too many grey screens of death at this time Booted into recovery with an attached time machine drive attached. wipe and full restore from latest backup
