iOS 14 public beta was running fine on my phone but I found that my banking app and one of my patient consultation apps did not work . I tried to downgrade to iOS 13.6 and it was stuck in an endless bootloop
Anyone else noticed this problem ? Looks like I have to do hard reset and will end up losing most of my data

Same happened to me when trying to restore thru iTunes. Hard reset/DFU and restored backup. All well now.

Did you do this from the phone? I tried from iTunes and it just said couldn’t complete the request

I may be unclear on what the process is...I tried going to restore mode on the phone and selecting restore...it then said downloading software...and that is where the problem occurred. I was wondering if ‘erase all content and settings’ from general / reset would do the trick

I tried to do a restore with iTunes. Message "Couldn't complete" then it went into loop. Disconnected phone from PC, Hard reset to DFU, plugged back into PC, restore, then installed my 13.6 backup. First thing to always do on a PC when there is an issue is to close iTunes, reboot PC then start over. That usually fixes a lot of error messages.

i’m a little worried...the DFU got the process going...just hoping restore from iCloud will work!

If you're talking about restoring your backup from iCloud, that is going to entirely depend on whether you have a backup of your device from 13.6 in the cloud. It may very well be a backup from 14. If so, you're out of luck restoring your personal information. Backups to iCloud from your device are automatic unless you had turned them off.
